The Benefits Of Rubber Flooring For Your Company
No Safety, Know Pain
Know Safety, No Pain
Concept
Electrical insulating mats are generally used
for covering the floor below the control panels. These are manufactured as per
latest Indian Standard. These insulating mats are used for safety of workers
while installing and operating electrical equipment because of possibility of
leakage of current.
Manufacturing Process
These inulating mats are manufactured using
elastomer that includes: latex, rubber and elastomeric compounds that might be
natural, synthetic or mixture of both all along with anti-skid aberrations on
the top to avoid slippage and smooth lower surface.
Types Of Insulating Mats
Basically there are 6 types of specialized
electrical insulating mats which are available as per both Indian Standard
& International Standard.
As Per Indian Standard
- Insulating Mats (IS 15652:2006)
- ISI Marked Insulating Mats (IS 15652:2006)
- Electrical Rubber Mats (IS 5424:1969)
As Per International Standard
- Insulation Mats (IEC 61111:2009)
- Insulation Matting (ASTM-D-178)
- Insulating Matting (AS/NZS – 2978:1995)
Features of Electrical Insulating Mats
- In compliance with IS 15652:2006

Insulated rubber mats are highly recommended
for the safety of the workmen against the electrical hazards. These electrical insulating rubber mats are highly economical and suitable for general use also.
The material used in our insulating rubber mat are made out of natural rubber
having good electrical resistance and mechanical properties.
The Benefits Of Rubber Flooring For Your Company
Rubber flooring products such as matting and
tiles provide improved safety measures in most working facilities, especially
in manufacturing companies. These rubber products are known for safeguarding
against accidents, promoting a risk-free environment.
Advantages Of Anti-slip Product Include
The Following:
- Improves Trust In Safety
- Helps Cut Out Accident Costs
- Reduces Friction Between Equipment & Floor
Without the proper safety equipment, such as
electrical mats, workers are at risk of electrocution while they perform their
duties. Safety first! Workplaces should be suitably equipped with the
appropriate materials for a safer working environment.
Electrical safety matting insulate and
protect from mortal shocks generated by electrical equipments. Safety mats for electrical purpose including switchboard matting to protect
from electrical shock. There are two classes of mat available: Class A (Thicker
Mats) & Class B (Light Weight) for use on flat indoor surfaces.
